Atamian Honda is an All-Star Sponsor of Make Your Mark Softball Tournament

R. Russell Atamian, President of Atamian Honda, Inc. of Tewksbury, is an All Star Sponsor of the first annual Make Your Mark Softball Tournament to benefit The Mark Fidrych Children’s Fund and The Genesis Fund. The 12 team tournament is scheduled for Saturday, August 27, 2011 at 9:00am at Memorial & Casey Fields in Northborough, Massachusetts, and will provide participants with a day full of fun, laughter, and camaraderie.

 

“The Genesis Fund is an amazing nonprofit organization that is dedicated to bettering the lives of children who need specialized care and treatment,” said R, Russell Atamian, President of Atamian Honda, Inc. ofTewksbury. “Mark Fidrych was a friend of mine. Together we participated in the Havlicek Celebrity Fishing Tournament for years and even went out fishing on my boat together. It is an honor to be a part of the Make Your Mark Softball Tournament to honor his commitment to the Genesis Fund and we look forward to strengthening our relationship with this outstanding organization for years to come.”

Russell Atamian is always eager to step up and support The Genesis Fund’s mission,” said The Genesis Fund Director of Development & Special Events Kathleen Marchi. “The Make Your Mark Softball Tournament was designed to honor Mark Fidrych who was always giving back to his community as well as The Genesis Fund. R. Russell’s involvement with his own community and The Genesis Fund alike is very similar to that of Mark’s, and it is so great to have yet another generous and dedicated supporter.”

 

Proceeds from the Make Your Mark Softball Tournament will benefit The Mark Fidrych Children’s Fund and The Genesis Fund. The Genesis Fund is a nonprofit organization dedicated to raising funds for the specialized care and treatment of New England area children born with birth defects, genetic diseases and intellectual disabilities. The Mark Fidrych Children’s Fund is benefiting from this event in honor of the late Mark Fidrych who was a devoted supporter of The Genesis Fund.
